FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is English Atlas free?

Yes. Every lesson, quiz, flashcard and the level test is free to use, and you don't need an account.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Your progress, such as the lessons you complete and the words you know, is saved in your browser on this device. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, it starts again from zero.

Which kind of English do you teach?

We use American spelling and vocabulary, and point out British differences where they matter, so the lessons work wherever you use English.

How accurate is the level test?

It gives a quick estimate based on grammar and vocabulary questions. It's a good guide for choosing lessons, but it isn't an official certificate. For that, take a recognized exam such as Cambridge English, IELTS or TOEFL.

Can teachers use the lessons in class?

Of course. Share a lesson link with your students, or work through a lesson and its quiz together in class.

Can I suggest a lesson or report a mistake?

Yes, please do. Send us a message through the contact page and we'll take a look.
